How we calculate the weight?

The cost of a shipment can be affected by the amount of space that it occupies on an aircraft, rather than the actual weight. This is the volumetric or dimensional weight.

Dimensional Weight is computed as Length (cm) x Width (cm) x Height (cm) / 5000.

This applies with most express couriers, like DHL which uses the greater of the actual or dimensional weight. Whereas, EMS shipments use actual weight to calculate shipping cost but parcels will be charged with the greater between actual and dimensional weight if any side of the box is over 40cm. calculated method is : length*wide*height/ 6000.

Bank Transfer

If you choose wire transfer to our China Bank Account you need to send in USD instead of other currencies because when we receive the transaction, it must be in USD to avoid short payment because of change in the exchange rate.

What are Prohibited and Restricted items?

By registering for our service, you agree not to use our service to store or ship any prohibited items.

If we receive any prohibited items on your behalf, we will inform you of the situation and you have to remove the item from our warehouse using a supported method, including returning the item to the original point of sale or other address within China and you are responsible for all shipping costs or additional charges associated with that.

Any prohibited items which cannot be shipped within China due to carrier restrictions or local laws will be disposed of immediately. We are not liable for financial losses resulting from such disposal.

Prohibited and Restricted items include, but are not limited to, the following:
There may be additional prohibited items specified by the country of destination. It is important for you to know your local custom policies as ChineseAddress will not be responsible for any financial losses that may be incurred as a result. Moreover, the recipient is the importer of record and must comply with all the laws & regulations of the destination country.

My package has been delivered, but why is it not updated in my suite?

Due to time zone differences and the high volume of packages ChineseAddress receives, please allow few days for packages to be updated to your suite.

If your package hasn't been added to your suite in 7 - 10 days, please contact us. We'll work to investigate the issue with the warehouse staff.

Note: Please make sure to properly input your address at checkout as it appears on your dashboard. Failure to do so may result in delayed processing.
